2024 Concours d'Elegance Best of Show Winner
Congratulations to the 2024 Concours d’Elegance Best of Show winner, a 1934 Bugatti Type 59 Sports, presented by Fritz Burkard of The Pearl Collection in Zug, Switzerland.
For the first time ever at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Best of Show award went to a preservation car. Preservation cars have been part of the event for decades, with formal classes established in 2001. With this victory, Bugatti and Mercedes-Benz are now tied with ten Best of Show awards each at Pebble Beach.
This year’s competition featured several strong contenders, including a 1948 Talbot-Lago T26 Grand Sport Saoutchik Fastback Coupé presented by Robert Kudela from Chropyně, Czech Republic; a 1934 Packard 1108 Twelve LeBaron Sport Phaeton presented by Harry Yeaggy from Cincinnati, Ohio; and a surprising entry, the 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero Bertone Coupe, showcased by Phillip Sarofim from Beverly Hills, California, as part of a historic display of Wedge concepts and prototypes.
Additionally, the Pebble Beach Concours has raised over $3 million for charity this year, bringing the total charitable contributions from the event to more than $41 million. Through the Pebble Beach Company Foundation, the event’s primary charitable partner, these funds will support nearly 100 local nonprofits focused on youth education, benefiting over 10,000 children annually in Monterey County.
