Pebble Beach and Partners Go All In for Girls Golf

On Wednesday, Pebble Beach Company teamed up with partners from around the business world – AT&T, Chevron, Charles Schwab, Cisco, Coca-Cola, Lexus, Morgan Stanley, Rolex, Santander and Walmart – to raise $1.5 Million for the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Program. Partners teamed up with past U.S. Women’s Open champions and junior golfers from the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf program for an 11-hole scramble event at the Tiger Woods designed par-3 course, ‘The Hay.’

Key figures from the worlds of sport and business were in attendance, including former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, World Cup champion, Mia Hamm and NFL 100th Anniversary Team selection, Larry Fitzgerald. In addition to golf, participants were treated to dishes inspired by the nationalities of past U.S. Women’s Open champions from Michelin Star Chef, Corey Lee.

In the end, the team from Rolex formed by past U.S. Women’s Open Champions Jan Stephenson and Brittany Lang, 14-year-old Kaelyn Yang, former professional football player Larry Fitzgerald, and four AJGA golfers (Asterisk Talley, Olivia Duan, Molly Meinhardt, and Kelley O’Keefe) took the title. While Team Rolex was victorious, the inaugural All In at The Hay event was a win for girls golf as a whole.

As the U.S. Women’s Open gets underway – the first of four over the next twenty-five years at Pebble Beach – Pebble Beach and their partners are “All In” on continuing the momentum of women’s golf.
