Gray Malin Captures Pebble Beach in New Collection

It’s Pebble Beach like you’ve never seen it before.

Famed fine art photographer and best-selling author Gray Malin turned his talented eye to Pebble Beach for his most recent collection, capturing unique views of some of the most famous holes in golf.

Malin released his new collection today, an addition to his beloved aerial series, À la Plage. The aerial tour soars above famed seaside scenes like the seventh and 18th holes at Pebble Beach Golf Links, as well as the Scottish-inspired Links at Spanish Bay.

The crashing ocean waves surrounding the lush greens and the dramatic coastal cliffs along 17-Mile Drive create this magical canvas of pure rugged nature.

Malin is well-known for his inventive aerial photography of beaches, ski slopes and park scenes. He visited Pebble Beach in his youth and was drawn back by his memory of the dramatic coastline.

“Photographing one of the world’s most gorgeous and iconic golf courses from an aerial perspective was an experience I will truly never forget,” Malin said. “The crashing ocean waves surrounding the lush greens and the dramatic coastal cliffs along 17-Mile Drive create this magical canvas of pure rugged nature. I remember visiting Pebble Beach with my father when I was growing up and I was absolutely mesmerized by its beauty. That memory has stuck with me over time and inspired me to capture imagery celebrating this legendary area beloved by locals, travelers, and, of course, golf fans.”

In addition to aerial photographs of the seventh and 18th holes at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Malin also captured views of the fourth, fifth, sixth, ninth, 10th and 17th holes. The 17th hole at The Links at Spanish Bay is also featured.

The Pebble Beach photographs appears alongside a larger collection of Malin’s Monterey Peninsula aerials.
