Practice-round play was nearly washed out Tuesday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as heavy rains and whipping winds battered the coastline. But we loved watching these brave souls document their battles with Mother Nature and the Spirit of Bing Crosby. Our 5 Favorite Things from Tuesday — Braving the Elements Edition:
1. BRYSON DECHAMBEAU LOVES GOLF IN ANY WEATHER — WITH ANY CLUB
Pebble Beach caddie Nick Galante brought us this gem: PGA TOUR rising star (and right-hander) Bryson DeChambeau trying to hit a “low bullet” with Mark Wahlberg’s left-handed driver on the par-3 No. 11 at Monterey Peninsula Country Club. (See Wahlberg huddled in the corner of the shot behind the giant boulders on the signature tee box.)
2. AARON RODGERS IS PUTTING HIS GAME IN HURRY-UP MODE
Not the day to play golf. Unless you’re Aaron Rodgers and have played 9 holes since August. You’re with Jerry Kelly. And it’s Pebble. pic.twitter.com/pZEHymugwr

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers finished their season two weeks ago. Rodgers gutted out some Lambeau-like weather to squeeze in 18 holes this morning.
3. SURFER KELLY SLATER IS GETTING READY FOR A WILD RIDE
Kelly Slater: 11-time Pro Surf League Champion, future wind-surfer?
4. WHAT CLUB WOULD YOU HIT ON NO. 7 TODAY?
With gusts blowing stronger than 30 mph, the wind nearly knocked back FOX News Anchor Bret Baier as he struck a 6-iron.
5. IT WAS A 5-IRON DAY FOR CHARLEY HOFFMAN
After finding a way to keep his ball teed up, four-time PGA Tour winner Charley Hoffman punched a 5-iron head-high and onto the green at No. 7. And he’s got the video to prove it.
