With rain gear and ponchos packed away for good, all three courses sparkled on a glorious Saturday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The galleries were finally treated to the full personality of this unique tournament — celebrity comedic relief and great golf from the world’s best players.
Here was the best from Saturday:
IF YOU HECKLE LARRY THE CABLE GUY, YOU BETTER BE ABLE TO MAKE A 2-FOOTER

A heckler got a little too confident (liquid courage, perhaps?), and Larry the Cable Guy called his bluff. The heckler was invited to tap in Larry the Cable Guy’s remaining putt, but missed, and was thrown back into the gallery by the collar. (Although, if you heckle a left-hander, you better be able to use left-handed clubs.)
SOMEBODY GIVE BILL MURRAY A BROADCASTING GIG
On the first tee, Bill Murray reintroduced playing partner D.A. Points after a reserved applause. “It’s D.A. Points! He won this (darn) tournament!” The gallery roared. Murray did the same after a luke-warm applause for J.B. Holmes.
“This is J.B. Holmes, ladies and gentlemen. He won a Ryder Cup for you people,” screamed Murray, wearing bib overalls from his signature William Murray line of clothing. “You all should get down on your knees.”
Of course, giving out donuts is also a great way to get the crowd on your side.
SOMEBODY GIVE BILL MURRAY A DRINK
Preferably from a drinking horn straight off the set of Game of Thrones.
CLUB 15: WHERE IT’S OK TO CHEER DURING A SHOT
The life of the party on AT&T Saturday is the 15th tee at Pebble Beach, where a fun-loving group of fans provides “professional support for amateur golfers.” And they do their homework. For surfer Kelly Slater, they serenaded him with a round of “Happy Birthday” as he ripped his drive in approval.

Seriously, how did this miss? The golf gods did make it up to JT, though, by granting him a pair of chip-ins later in the round.
ALFONSO RIBEIRO CARVES UP FIRST TEE WITH CARLTON DANCE
How does @alfonso_ribeiro start his round at the @ATTProAm?
With the Carlton, of course. pic.twitter.com/pMoAfV56Kl

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro is more than just an on-demand dancer. He’s also an avid golfer playing to a 3-handicap this week.
HERE’S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TO TRY AND TACKLE LARRY FITZGERALD

He’s pretty big, even without shoulder pads.

There were a lot of banana balls hit by the amateur field, but this is a new one…
FROM PEBBLE BEACH TO CARMEL BEACH
Not a bad view from either spot today.
SO WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN THE GOLF TOURNAMENT?

Jordan Spieth tried to put this thing away. The two-time Major champion went nuts with 13 one-putts, shooting a 7-under 65 at Pebble Beach to reach 17-under. Two-time AT&T champ Brandt Snedeker jumped up to second place with a 5-under 67, but trails Spieth by six. World No. 1 Jason Day was tied for the 36-hole lead after shooting an 8-under 64 at Spyglass Hill, but faltered with a third-round 75 at Pebble Beach.
